This Started in a Grocery Store…

This week, I’ve been sitting with a simple question someone asked me:

“Where does one begin?”

It came after I shared a reflection inspired by a conversation on Mayim Bialik’s podcast—about the lifelong inner work, the unraveling, the becoming. And my answer was honest:

Reach out. Let’s connect. Let’s have a conversation and see what support looks like for you.

Because the truth is—there isn’t one place to begin.

It’s not just about “working on yourself.”
It’s about how you walk through the world.

Yesterday, in Publix of all places, I saw a man wearing a Brooklyn hat in the Passover aisle. I smiled and said, “I love your hat! That’s my roots.” What followed was a 20-minute conversation with Victor and Judy—two beautiful souls, snowbirds, celebrating love in their community.

At one point, Judy said, “We need more of this.”

I couldn’t agree more.

More presence.
More connection.
More moments where we remember who we are—together.

This is the work.

Not just the inner journey, but the way we meet each other out in the wild.
The way we choose spaces that feel safe.
The way we cultivate connection.

It’s not about me.
It’s not about Dana Bee.

It’s about the WE.
